Dr. Eppo Bruins
(PhD 1995, Utrecht University) is Chairman of the Advisory Council for Science, Technology and Innovation (STI). The Council is the advisory body to the Dutch government and parliament on STI policy issues. Bruins was an MP in the Dutch Parliament from 2015 until 2021 for the ChristenUnie party. His professional career spans twenty years in science policy, innovation and the management of public-private partnerships. Bruins is associate consultant for Leadership insight, a one-to-one consultation developed in South-Africa by YSA. Eppo is passionate about young Africans doing amazing work in their communities.
Hassane is a young Guinean software engineer living in France. He is passionate about Africa and believes in entrepreneurship and helping small businesses as much as he can. “I sure hope our continent will go in the right direction for the incoming decades.” He said. With his wealth of experience and strong sense of self confidence came a desire to give back and help young entrepreneurs through a legacy project. Hassane joined the call for mentors on the lawyafrikfoundation Entrepreneurship Programme with a desire to guide younger entrepreneurs as he says their energy gives him hope about the future of Africa.
Dr. Judith Langat Mutahi is the director of Fort Hall College. She holds a Ph.D in Literature with a specialty in Womanism and Post-Apartheid South Africa. She also holds a master’s degree in International Law (LL.M) from the University of Cumbria (UK) as part of continuous learning and conversion. Dr. Langat served as a Lecturer at Kenyatta University and Editor of Character Magazine.
