At the Lawy Afrik Foundation, we teach skills required to be better placed to secure a job in clothing manufacturing. Many graduates move on to work at our workshops or in other garment manufacturing businesses.  So far, 100 students have graduated from the training since we began, out of which 22 used the certification to access higher education, 10 have secured employment in garment making businesses, 3 in machine repair and maintenance, 30 in garment and fashion products branding, 10 in courier logistics and 10 in commercial laundry. A further 10 have accessed opportunities for further training in leather works at Rift Leather Ltd, knitting works at Rivatex Ltd and tanning works Nakuru Tanners and 5, who are yet to get long term opportunities are currently working with us at the Foundation.
