Welcome to Weaving Dreams. We empower women from vulnerable livelihoods, including those living with HIV/AIDS, by nurturing their creativity and courage. Through the art of weaving, we transform lives, stitch by stitch, crafting a future of resilience and empowerment
Skills & Training
This program is designed to respond to the maddening levels of unemployment that cut across people of productive ages, who find themselves in a skills mismatch in relations to the market skills demands.
In response to the demand for new skills for the 4th industrial revolution, and the technical skills gap, we run a number of programs that aim at bridging this yawning gap. Such initiatives include;

Youth
The foundation is passionate about the youth and their empowerment. We do this to engage the youth to avoid deviant behaviours like drug abuse, teen pregnancies, illicit sexual relations, and skills impartations to escape extreme poverty levels at home.
Through these programs, we offer and carry out mentorships, counseling services, sexual and reproductive health education, sporting events, book donations and soft skills training. Ongoing initiatives in this category include:
- Lawy Pad Drive – Machakos, Nakuru, Kilifi, Kwale and West Pokot Counties
- Comprehensive Adolescent, Reproductive and Sexuality Education – Nakuru, Busia, Isiolo, Meru and Kitui Counties
- Lawy Football Tournament – Migori County (Done during school holidays)

Communities
United and cohesive societies provide a conducive environment to discover, develop, and experience meaningful and cultural practices.
Our work involves bringing people and communities together through sport, festivals, entertainment events, and common cause projects.
This way, social relations are built, which form a good foundation for advancing common interests, collaboration, and synergy in community development. Our work here involves;
- Christmas Carols Night – Annually at Kenyatta University, Strathmore University, Tigoni.
- Social Justice Town Hall Meetings – Selected areas where police, judiciary, civil servants etc respond to people’s concerns.
- Youth Music, Dance and Meet Festival – Kajiado, Kisumu, Mombasa.
